Lucas Beecham, MA, brings a compassionate and integrative approach to his role as a Psychological Intern at Creative Recovery LA. With a deep commitment to empowerment and self-actualization, Lucas supports clients through a humanistic, strengths-based, and trauma-informed lens, fostering healing and personal growth in a safe, inclusive environment.

Originally from Savannah, Georgia, Lucas earned a BFA in Performing Arts with minors in Film and Voice from Savannah College of Art and Design, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2015. His creative roots inform his therapeutic work, blending artistry with mental health advocacy. He holds a Master’s in Humanistic Psychology from Saybrook University, with a specialization in Consciousness, Spirituality, and Integrative Health, and received certification in Clinical and Applied Hypnosis in 2022. Currently, Lucas is pursuing a PhD in Clinical Psychology at Saybrook, with an expected graduation in 2026.

At Creative Recovery LA, Lucas draws on his diverse experiences to guide clients toward self-discovery and resilience. His narrative and strengths-based approaches help clients reframe their stories and embrace their potential. Beyond Creative Recovery LA, Lucas serves as a psychotherapist at Being Alive LA, an HIV/AIDS nonprofit in Hollywood, where he supports the LGBTQIA+ community with compassion and expertise.

Before moving to Los Angeles, Lucas spent eight years in New York City, where he founded Twelfth House Healing LLC, offering Reiki energy healing, astrological readings, and hypnosis, primarily to LGBTQIA+ clients. His holistic background and dedication to integrative care make him a vital part of Creative Recovery LA, where he empowers clients to heal and thrive.
